Vaccination is a health strategy with excellent effectiveness for disease prevention, but immunization errors can cause harm to both individual and collective health. This article analyzed 3,829 notifications of immunization errors in the state of Minas Gerais.

In Brazil, as at October 2022, 33,513 notified cases of monkeypox (MPX) had been recorded. Greater frequency was found among young people attributed with male sex at birth. The most frequent symptoms were: fever, adenomegaly, headache and skin rash. There was a high proportion of MPX among people living with HIV and other ISTs, as also happened in other countries.
