The journal Epidemiologia e Serviços de Saúde: revista do SUS (RESS), a free, continuously published scientific journal, received the A3 rating in the new evaluation by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), referring to the four-year period 2017-2020. The Qualis Periódicos Capes is a system used to classify the scientific output of postgraduate programs, specifically regarding articles published in scientific journals.
