Online questionnaires enable data to be obtained rapidly; however, if they are designed without methodological rigor, they may compromise the validity of the data received. This study assessed agreement of the data collected during the 22-year follow-up of the 1993 Pelotas birth cohort.
Congenital syphilis continues to be of concern both globally and in Brazil, in view of serious complications and deaths due to the disease. The quality of syphilis surveillance systems and linkage between different databases continue to be challenges. This study analyzes underreporting of unfavorable congenital syphilis outcomes in the state of São Paulo, from 2007 to 2018.
The collapse and lack of coordination between health system actions during the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to increased morbidity and mortality in the population, especially among those with chronic diseases. Estimating excess deaths in Santa Catarina during the pandemic period was crucial to understanding the real impact of the pandemic on deaths among the population.

Papers can be submitted from August 9th to August 21st.
The SciELO in Perspective website has published a press release about the article entitled Inequalities in use of SUS services points to the need to target health policies, published in RESS n. 1, vol. 32. The study analyzed data from research conducted with people over 18 years old living in the urban area of the city of Criciúma, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
