The Notifiable Health Conditions Information System (Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação – SINAN) was created by the Ministry of Health for the purpose of collecting, transmitting and publicizing data routinely generated by the Brazilian epidemiological surveillance system. Breast cancer has been responsible for the highest number of cancer cases recorded worldwide. Inequality in the availability and use of screening, diagnosis and treatment services can result in delays in the disease being diagnosed. This article analyzes delay in treatment as well as the health care flow among females with breast cancer in Brazil between 2019 and 2020.
Worldwide, around 13.5% of deaths in the 20-39 year age group are attributed to alcohol. In Brazil, studies on hospitalizations due to mental and behavior disorders are still limited. This study analyzes the trend of these hospitalization rates between 2010 and 2020.
